Artist-run production studio

Analogue film from the US/Mexico border

STANDARD FANTASTIC PICTURES is an artist-run production studio specializing in analogue film formats.

Standard Fantastic Pictures is an artist-run production studio emerging from the front lines of cross-border politics, intersectionality, and late capitalism. We are driven by the necessity for audiences of all types to see themselves represented on screen.

We collaborate with artists who understand and have experienced exploitation and discrimination, to provide the resources, care, and support for projects the Hollywood film industry ignores. From reimagined adaptations of existing narratives to original stories reflecting diverse experiences, Standard Fantastic Pictures is where Freire and Fellini converge.
